What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website can ask your browser to retain and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser facility that scripts can use to retain information on your device. Both can be used for preferences or tracking, but they are not the same as an ordinary cached image or a file you download.
What the supplied pages use
The provided HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies, use local storage or session storage, or include analytics, advertising pixels or third-party embedded widgets. Opening the mobile menu and revealing sections on scroll use temporary page state only.
The contact drafting tool keeps its current draft in page memory. It does not save form content in browser storage. Browser autofill, session restoration, extensions and device synchronisation may separately retain information under your own settings.
| Feature | Where information stays | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile navigation state | Current page memory | Until closed or the page is replaced |
| Message draft | Current page memory | Until changed or the page is replaced |
| Copy draft | Your device clipboard | Controlled by your device and applications |
| Export .txt | Your chosen download location | Until you delete or move the file |
| Cached page assets | Your browser cache | Controlled by browser and server settings |
Hosting and added services
A hosting provider may operate infrastructure-level security or delivery features independently of this source code. Any separately added consent interface or service may also have its own storage behaviour. This notice does not invent cookie names or retention periods for services that are not identified in the supplied website.
If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies are introduced, their purposes, providers and storage periods should be disclosed and any consent required by applicable law obtained before use. The current supplied scripts do not activate such technologies.
Your controls
You can inspect and remove site data through your browser’s privacy or site settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent the supplied guides or local drafting tool from working. Disabling JavaScript removes the enhanced mobile menu and message preparation functions; the navigation links, articles and direct email link remain available.
Clearing site data does not necessarily remove a downloaded text file or clipboard content. Manage those through your device. For questions, email [email protected] and see the Privacy notice for correspondence and technical request data.
